From the hills of West Virginia to the east coast of North Carolina, Wilmington welcomes Musser’s Backyard BBQ Sauce. Anyone who has ever been to Captain Bill’s Backyard Grill knows John Musser. Anyone who has ever been lucky enough to have been at an event catered by Musser’s Seafood & BBQ Catering Services has met John Musser. And anyone who knows JohnMusser knows John’s hard work ethic and dedication. This family recipe BBQ sauce, comes to you with a lot of hidden ingredients: blood, sweet, tears and love! The original sauce recipe was developed by the late William H. Musser, John’s father. Mr. Musser (also lovingly referred to as Capt’n Bill) was John’s inspiration and supporter in founding Capt’n Bill’s Backyard Grill. As a household condiment in the Musser’s home, John grew up with the very recipe he has spent the better part of the past few years perfecting, bottling and now distributing. As a tribute to William H. Musser who passed away in 2003 after suffering from Alzheimer’s, John now makes this incredible family sauce available to you. Fond memories and love go into every bottle and we hope you can taste the difference from any other sauce you have tried!
