Eagle, US Coast Guard Having studied Culinary Arts at W.T.I., Chef Cody Younghans most notable experience in his 12 years in the industry came during his service in the U.S. Coast Guard. While on active duty, not only did he have the opportunity to cater to Ross Perot and Princess Anne, he also became skilled in the art of cooking sideways. Yes, we mean this literally. Although he no longer needs to prepare his food on a tilt, it is one of the notable skills that an onboard chef has to master on the open sea. When asked what makes Front Street unique Cody replied “ Everything is fresh and made from scratch! We cut our own filets, carve our own steaks, serve only fresh vegetables and even prepare homemade ice cream. Everything is always fresh and delicious and that’s why people come back time and time again.” The Brewery is also unique in that it is the only location in Wilmington that maintains and crafts its own beers.
