Fish Bites Foodies Dinner is a Hit! PDF Print E-mail

fishbitesOkay, so you can't get out on the boat and get it yourself - here's the solution, Fish Bites! Local distributor Donnie Boltz has been supplying the area with the freshest catch around and in August of this year, he and wife Cathy decided that they would endeavor to do more. In the location formerly operated as 17th Street Deli, 4 miles north of Carolina Beach, Donnie and Cathy opened up Fish Bites Fresh Market and Seafood Restaurant. According to the Boltzs' their standards are that much higher because anyone who knows Donnie, knows that he has to have the freshest seafood in town! With lobster tanks filled and the market case spotlighting the fresh catches, Fish Bites is sure to quickly become a destination dining spot.
For the last dinner of the year, on December 18th, The Dine Wilmington Foodies were treated to a special menu of appetizers, soup and choice of entree with dessert. Although severe weather effected the turn-out, those that were in attendance all agreed that Fish Bites is a location that they were coming back to! By unanimous decision, the group elected to have a second dinner in February to accommodate those members that were unable to attend due to the weather.
