After a slow winter, many of our locally owned restaurants anticipated spring with the hopes of regaining lost momentum. Unfortunately, the reality is that the restaurant industry continues to suffer, and with a threatened economy, we consumers continue to take hits from every angle. The trickle down effect is felt everywhere and by everyone of us. Our decisions and behaviors are altered. As the only resource in town whose mission is to support and encourage the consumer support of locally owned restaurants, we watch as the very industry that we passionately promote suffers tremendous blows. Thousands of our registered members have enjoyed exclusive Gift Certificates from our restaurants and we encourage you to take advantage of these savings. Many of our local restaurants have changed their menus to include a wider variety of choices at reasonable and comparable prices. If you are not eating out as much as you once did, please continue to support your locally owned restaurants when you do go out. |
