Over the past year, many of the signs have pointed to to the closing of our local restaurants. Local media has focused on the negative downturn which in itself affects consumer behavior. As happens, those bleak indicators are turning out to become positive new beginnings. When I created this gallery at the end of last year, it was to remind myself of the affect that we as consumers have on local business. Now with a re-newed hope, we see the signs are changing and new restaurants emerging. Every week we will feature a new opening.
