6d5cd80cee208b4730228c628869593aHas the down trend in dining out had an impact on tipping? According to those who took our poll, the answer is NO. Although many local consumers report that they are dining out less and choosing their destinations based on strong preference, it would appear that according to 58.8% they continue to tip a standard 20% and, 23.5% report a tipping of over 20%; a smaller portion, 11.8% report that they tip on average 15% and the remaining 5.9% stayed neutral and answered that they tip in accordance with the type of restaurant.
