Although many local consumers report that they are dining out less and choosing their destinations based on strong preference, it would appear that according to 58.8% they continue to tip a standard 20% and, 23.5% report a tipping of over 20%; a smaller portion, 11.8% report that they tip on average 15% and the remaining 5.9% stayed neutral and answered that they tip in accordance with the type of restaurant.
