Oct-2-125With so many new restaurants opening up in the Wilmington area, it is often difficult sorting out those that are phenomenal and those that fizzle.  In order for a restaurant to succeed, the food must leave an ever-lasting impression on your palate.  For all of those out there who are fans of great food, elegant décor, impressionable service, all packaged in a small, intimate restaurant, Buoy 32 Bistro has the answer...

The new IT place just happens to be located at the old Crab Daddy’s Restaurant.  It is called Buoy 32 Bistro and it promises to be an exciting addition to the Wilmington restaurant community.  The name, Buoy 32 Bistro, comes from two buoys that are marked “32”-- one at the end of the Cape Fear River and one in the Intercoastal Waterway outside of Landfall.  Located on the right just past the old MOI restaurant, Buoy 32 Bistro is a force to be reckoned with.  Begin your meal with the Coconut-Coated Shrimp with Szechwan Teriyaki Sauce, or the Crispy Calamari with Mustard Aioli, and Sweet Chile Sauce.  Both these appetizers are just the perfect amount of food.  They leave you satisfied, yet wanting more!  Some of the more attention-grabbing entrées include Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin in Apple Puree Sauce with Asparagus and Smashed Potatoes, and the Crab-Encrusted Salmon with a Miso-Sake Sauce, Pineapple Sushi Rice and Stir-Fried Vegetables.  As mentioned earlier, it is so refreshing to have a restaurant that takes classic favorites such as pork and salmon and offers a unique twist.  These entrees were the real deal, crowd pleasers!  Executive Chef, Eric Gephart wish to invite you to partake in an amazing deal…Dinner for Two for $39.95.  Click on the restaurant link for more information, but be forewarned--once you eat there once, you’ll be back for repeated visits.  Buoy 32 Bistro is a SMOKE-FREE restaurant, featuring fresh local seafood, full raw bar, and the delectable Americana-Asian Fusion of food from Buoy 32’s creative chef.  If you’re a fan of Buoy 32’s sister restaurant, Mako (Popular Grove), or in the mood to indulge in some of Wilmington’s tastiest entrees, make your way towards Wrightsville Beach and visit the exquisite Buoy 32 Bistro.  Open for dinner:  Monday-Thursday from 5-10; Friday and Saturday from 5-11, and closed Sunday.  Serving beer and wine, and available for lunch catering, discover Wilmington’s new IT restaurant before reservations are impossible to get!
