Two local franchise owners have recently expanded to second locations in newly constructed Bea Rivage Shopping Center. Pita Delite’s owner, Jeff Brown has opened as of May 16th some two years after the South College location took the area by storm. Jeff Brown was the first local owner of a Pita Delite franchise. The three other existing locations, all currently in the Greensboro area are still held by the original owners. “It was about eating healthy and fast, a combination that we don't usually pair. The offerings at Pita Delite are Mediterranean, and the counter service at Pita makes it convenient to order and sit down in a clean, comfortable and relaxing dining area. It's a win - win; cost effective, healthy & great atmosphere!” stated Brown. As seen here, Jeff Brown, owner of Pita Delite View Pita Delite's Menu in our menu section Firehouse Subs owner Louis Tabor had 25 years of restaurant experience when he opened his first Wilmington Firehouse Subs on Oleander Avenue in May of 2006. States Tabor, “First and foremost, I found the product to be second to none.” “What makes the Firehouse sub unique is the process of steaming the meat and cheese and then toasting the bread and adding the condiments.” According to Tabor, “it is the most delicious combination you will ever have”. When investigating a franchise opportunity, Tabor sates that the focus on Local firefighting was another attribute that attracted him to the concept. The new location will boast memorabilia and support for the Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Firehouse Subs currently operates 320 units throughout the South East. According to Tabor, “Firehouse subs are routinely recognized in the Southeast as the Best Subs in the towns where they are located. We look forward to the second location earning us more recognition and hopefully this accolade in the near future. ” The new location in Beau Rivage opened on April 21st. Although not even close to being a second location, the locally cherished Pt's is also in the new development and local owners are all heading to Beau Rivage to make the tastes we all love in Wilmington available in the ever expanding area. |
