Two characters for happiness are joined to express the joy of wedded union. Chinese culture favors "good things come in pairs".
The legend of the Double Happiness dates back to the SONG Dynasty(960-1279): A young, brilliantly gifted scholar named WANG AN SHI secured the hand of a wealthy maiden at the same time as he passed the imperial exam with highest distinctions. in celebration of this dual accomplishment, he created the Double Happiness symbol.
This location has been renovated to provide you with the option of both traditional Chinese seating as well as table and chairs and a beautiful sunroom with booth seating.
